Enrichment Services

Enrichment Services are our way of providing our members with overall care in every way!  There is no expectation of training with these services. All services are available after 6 weeks of Membership and upon Training Team Approval. Scheduling may be limited, depending on your teams availability. Please see policies for second dog fee on each service. Training Team can remove access to Enrichment Services.

Hiking Adventure

Volunteer ranger, experienced hiker, and trainer Perry Campbell will take your dog on a 3-hour adventure through Colorado trails. See Purchase Details under Procedures on extra dog charge.

Happy Visits

1 hour Your trainer will meet you and your dog at a specified location (vet, daycare, groomer, etc. parking lot) and will get started on helping your dog develop a good relationship with these places. Owner must be present for these sessions

Neighborhood Jog

1 hour high energy enrichment around your neighborhood. Jog can include travel to local park. See Purchase Details under Procedures on extra dog charge.

Basic Care

Basic Care Services are our way of providing our members with overall care in every way!  There is no expectation of training with these services. All services are available after 6 weeks of Membership and upon Training Team Approval.  Training Team can remove access to Basic Care Services. Scheduling may be limited, depending on your teams availability. Please see policies for second dog fee on each service.

Basic Visits

Can be used for feeding, walking (if applicable), or just some fun time in the backyard. This visit is meant for pups who need a break throughout the day when everyone’s at work or during an Overnight Care Service.

Overnights

When you’re on a trip out of state or out in the mountains, the Padfoot Team can be available to watch your pups and your home! Book an overnight care (8PM-8AM) along with a daytime visit (added after) to keep your pup safe and enriched while you’re away!”

Real World Training (RWT) Policy and Procedures

Booking: See Booking Link to request and select an estimated time frame for your Real World Training Session. Your request may be open to rejection if there are no available trainers. All services must be paid in full prior to service rendered. $130/month for an addtional dog for Complete/Premium members — for Access Members, 50% of the purchased package fee for a second dog.

Cancellations: 24 hours without a fee. The fee is $20 and there will be a credit on your account for the remainder. The session may be rescheduled by the Trainer up to 5 hours before the session with reason. Members- policy can be found in your Agreement under roll-overs and cancellations.

Duration: Trainer may arrive up to 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after the scheduled time. Sessions run up to 1 hour including summary, trainer notes, and photos at the end of every session. If you find yourself unavailable to let your trainer in during the grace period, please contact your trainer and we may discuss a code or schedule a key exchange.

Weather: We leave it at the discretion of the pet parent and trainer to cancel the session due to weather. Inclement weather includes snow, rain, below 35 degrees, and above 90 degrees. Depending on your dog’s training plan, we may ask to schedule your furry family member at different times of days during different seasons at the discretion of the pet parent and Trainer.

Communication: Through Padfootpets.com, you have access to photos and training notes through your booking on the SCHEDULE tab! After every RWT session, your trainer will close the session with photos and notes on how the session went with your pup! If you are looking for more one-on-one coaching, you can request a COACHING Session if not already included in your package. You can contact your Trainer using the phone number provided through confirmation email.

Purchase Details: Complete and Premium Members may purchase this service individually apart from your regularly scheduled RWT through the Membership. Access Members may purchase RWT in 5-packs or 10-packs.After request has been scheduled, you will receive an emailed confirmation with Trainer details and an invoice will be rendered and automatically charged to card on file.

Coaching Policy and Procedures

Purchase Details: Complete and Premium Members may purchase this service individually. Access Members may purchase coaching in 3-packs or 5-packs. After request has been scheduled, you will receive an emailed confirmation with coach details and an invoice will be rendered and automatically charged to card on file. Coaching expires 1 year after purchase.

Hiking Adventure Policies and Procedures

Cancellations: 72 hours (3 days) without a fee. The fee is 50% of the invoice. The remaining 50% will go onto your account as a credit towards your next service. The session may be rescheduled by the Trainer up to 24 hours before the session with reason. No refund or credit provided once the session has started.

Duration: The Trainer arrives in the time frame requested and lasts 3 hours from the start time. This includes travel time. Our ARRIVAL time slots for Hiking Adventures are as follows:

Happy Visits Policy and Procedures

Booking: See Booking Link to request and select an estimated time for your dog’s Sniffari and SET LOCATION. Your request may be open to rejection if there are no available Trainer or requested location is unavailable. All services must be paid in full prior to service rendered.

Cancellations: 72 hours (3 days) without a fee. The fee is 50% of the invoice. The remaining 50% will go onto your account as a credit towards your next service. No refund or credit provided once the session has started.

Duration: The Trainer arrives on location in the time frame requested and lasts up to 1 hour from the start time. Owner must be present for the Happy Visit. Communication with location may be required.

Overnight Care Policy and Procedures

All services must be paid in full prior to service rendered. $25/night for each additional dog for Access Members. $20/night for each additional dog for Complete/Premium members.

Cancellations: 72 hours (3 days) without a fee. The fee is 50% of the invoice. The remaining 50% will go onto your account as a credit towards your next service. No refund or credit provided once the session has started.

Duration: The Caregiver arrives at 8PM (earliest time) or later if agreed upon between Owner and Trainer. Caregiver stays overnight to 8AM (latest time) or earlier if agreed upon between Owner and Trainer. This includes a Potty Break at time of arrival and Potty Break before departing. Feedings and Medications may also be administered at these times.

If your home needs more care, we also offer midday Potty Breaks to schedule under Basic Care which we can provide food, medications, and companionship during your time away. Caretaker may stay at the residence beyond the Duration.

Weather: We understand flights may be delayed/canceled due to inclement weather. If your travel is being affected by inclement weather, please contact [email protected] or contact your Caregiver as soon as possible with updated information on your travel arrangements.

Medications (if difficult or injectable), Holiday Care, Day Outings (6-hour continuous daytime care), Canine Taxi, and Yard Poop Pickup may be requested at an additional fee.

Position open for short-experienced trainers who enjoy working dogs in their homes! It’s the ideal job for someone who understands dogs, learning about dog behavior, and being outside. Join our revolutionary Real World Training team! At Padfoot Pets, we believe in education first! We offer support to our Trainers to have the opportunities for continued education and growth within the company. We hire trainers to work duties outside of training (if able) so any special skills will also be taken into consideration.

All staff must pass a background check. This position is a contracted part-time job. You work independently to give yourself and the pups lots of enrichment and individual training and follow along an agreed schedule.

JOB DUTIES

-goes to location (either home or agreed-to location) and takes dog through the Real World Training Program

-must have reliable transportation
-must have smartphone for accessing scheduling
-must wear identifying gear provided by PPS and carry business cards
-must have approved supplies for training available (i.e. lead, puzzle game, water, bowl, poop bags, varied value treats, etc.)
-complete each session with a report card and photos using Easy Busy Pets
-complete each session with Behavior report on Google Sheets/Spaces
-communicates with dog Owners on behavior/scheduling
-supported by Lead Trainer for complex behavior analysis
-commit to 1/month Staff Meetings/Educational workshops

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid ID.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Smartphone for accessing scheduling.
  • Works well independently.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite.
  • minumum 1 year of Animal education/training.
  • Training Certification not required but optimal (CPDT, PPG, IAABC, Karen Pryor, CBATI, or equivalent.
  • The ability to walk for long periods of time.
  • Patient, punctual, and reliable.
  • Trustworthy and responsible.
